Certified for use with VMware® ESX Server,
the VB2242XL blade server is an ideal system
for virtual machine serving and enables server

The VB2242XL blade server is available with up
to six Gigabit Ethernet ports and Fibre Channel
HBAs. The VB2242XL features up to 192GB
of DDR2 memory and a 1066MHz front side
bus for increased performance. With faster
processors, fully buffered DIMM modules and
Intel® Virtualization technology, the VB2242XL
is the ideal solution for a full range of memory
and compute intensive applications.
The VB2242XL blade server supports up to four
Six-Core Intel® Xeon® 7400 Series Processors,
new memory and I/O innovations which boost
system performance. The VB2242XL provides
exceptional scalability and features Intel’s
Demand Based Switching and I/O AT technology,
which provide increased power efficiency and
network performance to meet the demanding
requirements of today’s enterprise workloads.
The Verari Systems VB2242XL blade server is

2.0 management, KVM-IP and remote media,
