while offering support for configurations that require large memory footprints.
Ideal for applications requiring large data sets, the VB1510 blade server

options.
Leveraging the power of the AMD Quad-Core Opteron
2300 Series processor, enterprise customers can now run applications
faster than ever before. The modular design allows use of the largest
3.5” SATA drives in the industry while dual integrated gigabit Ethernet
ports make the VB1510 one of the most powerful, scalable blade servers
available today.
With 16 DDR2 DIMM sockets, the full power of the AMD Quad-Core
Opteron processor can be harnessed while delivering new levels of power
and performance into a dense blade form factor. The PCI Express based
Ethernet chipset allows for maximum network throughput. Remote management
functionality is provided through the optional IPMI 2.0 interface.
The VB1510 supports non-uniform memory access time (NUMA), memory
management architecture and supports the latest operating systems
including Red Hat® Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux, CentOS, Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003 and more.
